Swedish Green Tech Alliance
No city can tackle all challenges or develop every innovative solution alone. This became crystal clear to us when we recently hosted a roundtable discussion in support of Ukraine. That is why we, at Stockholm Green Innovation District, have established the Swedish Green Tech Alliance—a collaborative effort to strengthen our collective ability to build sustainable and carbon-neutral cities. We welcome investors and international companies to join us in this mission.
Addressing climate change requires the development of smarter, more sustainable cities worldwide. While cities occupy only 3% of the Earth’s surface, they account for over 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions. To drive meaningful change, we invite companies with the expertise and technologies to make an impact—both in Sweden and beyond—to be part of our initiative. Whether you specialize in urban planning, infrastructure development, or green technologies, your contributions are essential.
Our alliance offers a direct link between challenges and solutions, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders in Sweden and internationally. By working together, we can create comprehensive, sustainable system solutions that drive real progress.
We will share more information soon, but in the meantime, feel free to reach out with any questions. Let’s build the future together!
The Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia, in the person of its president Liudmyla Lemrini, attended the important roundtable regarding how to shape a Swedish Green Tech Alliance focused on Ukraine’s green reconstruction and recovery.
